As a massive winter weather storm sweeps across the Southern and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States, two teams will be meeting in the icy cold tundra of Hastings, Minnesota for the 2026 AHL Outdoor Classic that might bust the record books open like a spontaneously exploding tree.

For only the 13th time in AHL history, two teams will take to the ice for an outdoor game in front of thousands as the Iowa Wild take on the Milwaukee Admirals at the Iowa Wild Outdoor Classic.

Ballparks, fairgrounds, football stadiums, the AHL will play wherever there is ice.

The Iowa Wild are going outside, and they will do so donning an all-new look.
