It took three periods of regulation and just 20 seconds of overtime, but the Wisconsin Badgers have punched their ticket in to the 2026 NCAA D1 Men's Hockey Frozen Four.

In a contest that started out slow between the Michigan State Spartans and the Wisconsin Badgers, shots would not find the back of the net until the opening of the second period of regulation.

Wisconsin would not go away without a fight though, as back to back goals would tie this one up and send it to overtime.

Once the game reached OT, it only took 20 seconds for the Badgers to punch their ticket to the Frozen Four courtesy of the fourth goal of the game off the stick of Ben Dexheimer.

Both goalkeepers has a stellar night in net. Trey Augustine for the Spartans had 34 saves on the night. Daniel Hauser for Wisconsin had 24 saves.
