The latest men's college hockey rankings are out after a weekend of conference championship tournaments and the stakes are higher than ever with NPI playing the pivotal role in deciding the final at-large teams that will have a chance in the Frozen Four.
Providence, Michigan State, Quinnipiac, and North Dakota were all top seeds heading into the opening rounds of their conference tournaments. By Saturday night, it was Merrimack, Ohio State, Clarkson, and Minnesota Duluth who came out on top to remain fighting for the automatic bid and send the four titans home early to await their destiny.

When Is The Frozen Four Hockey Tournament? Here's What To Know
The 2026 NCAA DI Men's Hockey Championship will be held at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Regionals will take place first, with all sixteen teams split across four different sites and one top-seeded team at each. The two winning teams will compete in a Regional Final at the same location.
The final, winning team from each regional will move on to the Frozen Four in Las Vegas.
