The Force remain atop our rankings this week, boasting the fewest goals allowed in the USHL (26) by a wide margin.

Zam Plante (PIT) is having a breakout season in his third year, sitting with nine goals and 11 assists. His 20 points ranks third in the league.

Meanwhile, netminder Anton Castro owns the best goals-against average (1.75) and fourth-best save percentage (0.916).

2. Dubuque Fighting Saints / Last Ranking: 2

Dubuque continues to exude a ton of offense, leading the league in goals scored (82).

Erik Pahlsson leads all USHL skaters with 23 points in 16 games, including eight points on the man advantage.

The Fighting Saints have four of the top eight point-producers in the USHL, with University of Denver commit James Reeder already over halfway to his point total from last year.

3. Youngstown Phantoms / Last Ranking: 3

The Phantoms earned a gritty shootout win over Dubuque on Friday, before dropping a 4-1 contest the following night.

5. Sioux City Musketeers / Last Ranking: 4

Record: 9-5-4-0

The Muskies lost their first two games without rookie sensation Hagen Burrows, who returned to Minnetonka to defend their state title. That said, Kaden Shahan looks like a solid re-entry prospect in next year’s NHL Draft. He leads the league with 15 goals, just five shy of last year’s total.

6. Madison Capitols / Last Ranking: 5

Record: 8-4-2-1

Madison drops one spot in our rankings, having lost its last three games.

Defenseman Will Felicio (2024) snapped an eight-game streak without a goal Saturday and now has five goals on the year.

Patriks Berzins and Carsen Musser have developed into an excellent duo in net, with the former boasting the second-best save percentage (0.922) in the USHL.

7. Tri-City Storm / Last Ranking: 9

Record: 9-6-1-0

Tri-City is back on track.

The Storm have points in their last three games, and forward Trevor Connelly (2024) snapped an eight-game streak without a goal.

While Cameron Korpi has been receiving the lion’s share of starts in net, Ivan Zhigalov picked up his first USHL win Saturday, stopping 30-of-33 shots on goal.

11. Des Moines Buccaneers / Last Ranking: 13

Record: 5-6-3-0

The Bucs have rebounded from a slow start and now have points in their last five games.

Rookie forward and Arizona State commit Ben Kevan is riding a three-game goal streak, leading the team with 14 points. The plan is for Kevan to remain with the Des Moines for the remainder of the season, after contemplating a return to the Los Angeles Jr. Kings 16U club.

Netminder Ethan Dahlmeir earned his first USHL Goaltender of the Week honors for his performance last week and is riding a three-game win streak.

After a fast start in Waterloo, Adam Zlnka (ARI) has cooled off, collecting just one point over his last six games.

Netminder Calvin Vachon saw his five-game win streak end Friday, as he allowed a season-high six goals against Tri-City.

13. USNTDP / Last Ranking: 12

Record: 5-8-0-0

Hopefully, William Moore’s (2025) play at the 2023 U-17 World Hockey Challenge can get him going in USHL play. After collecting just four points in seven games, Moore led Team USA with seven goals and 12 points, helping the Americans to a silver-medal finish.

Meanwhile, the U18 squad captured gold at the 2023 U18 Five Nations tournament.

Kristian Epperson (2024) recorded four goals and five points, and Cole Eiserman (2024) provided the game-winner in a lopsided 11-3 final over Czechia in the championship game.

The Steel are showing some signs of life and have collected points in their last three games, including a 9-7 barn burner against Madison last Friday.

While Michael Hage (2024) and Lukas Sawchyn (2025) garner the headlines, Joey DelGreco has been red-hot lately. The Augustana commit recorded a hat trick against the Caps, earning USHL Forward of the Week honors, and he is up to 12 points through the first 13 games.

15. Lincoln Stars / Last Ranking: 14

16. Omaha Lancers / Last Ranking: 16

Record: 2-11-2-0

The Lancers have gone 2-6-2-0 over their last 10 games, and there seems to be no sign of turning this thing around.

Omaha has yet to see a player eclipse the 10-point mark, with Aleksi Kivioja the closest at five goals and nine points through the first 15 games.
