The Springfield Thunderbirds are the primary professional development team for St. Louis Blues prospects.
Blues prospects such as Justin Carbonneau, Adam Jiříček and Juraj Pekarcik are names to follow entering the 2026-27 season as they continue working toward opportunities in St. Louis.
Springfield begins the regular season Oct. 3 against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins before hosting the Laval Rocket for its home opener Oct. 10.

Watch The Worcester Railers On FloHockey
The Worcester Railers are the Blues' new ECHL affiliate for the 2026-27 season.
Worcester joins Springfield in the St. Louis development system under an affiliation agreement that runs through the 2030-31 season. The move also puts the Blues' AHL and ECHL affiliates about an hour apart in Massachusetts.
Fans can watch Worcester and the ECHL throughout the season on FloHockey.
