FloSports has entered into an exclusive four-year media rights agreement with the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) for unprecedented coverage of the IIHF Men’s World Championship in the U.S. beginning in 2027 on FloHockey.

Under the agreement, brokered by Infront as the IIHF’s exclusive media partner, FloHockey will stream every game of the IIHF Men’s World Championship, as well as the Division IA and Division IB World Championships, bringing one of international hockey’s premier annual competitions and the sport’s biggest stars to fans across the United States. 

In addition to streaming every event live, FloHockey will provide the most comprehensive suite of original video, editorial content, and social programming ever produced for the IIHF Men’s World Championship for a U.S. audience across the rapidly growing FloHockey channels. This will include support of the World Championship with the popular Athlete's Lounge franchise, which brings current and former hockey players together to discuss and analyze the action throughout the tournament, providing unique insight and entertainment to the games.

Held annually, the IIHF Men’s World Championship combines elite competition, passionate national rivalries and international star power, regularly featuring NHL players joining their national teams following the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The event has become one of hockey’s most celebrated global tournaments, producing iconic moments including Sidney Crosby’s ‘Triple Gold Club’ achievement and Connor McDavid’s gold-medal victory performance for Canada. Other legendary athletes taking to the ice during the tournament  include Nathan MacKinnon, David Pastrnak, Auston Matthews and Jaromir Jagr.
