The Trenton Ironhawks are the Islanders' ECHL affiliate and begin their inaugural season in 2026-27.
Trenton provides another step in the Islanders' professional development pipeline, working alongside Hamilton to develop players within the organization.
The Ironhawks open their first ECHL season Oct. 16 against the Trois-Rivières Lions.
