The Tahoe Knight Monsters enter the 2026-27 ECHL season as one of the league's younger franchises and a regional development partner of the Vegas Golden Knights. Tahoe is affiliated with Vegas and the AHL's Henderson Silver Knights, creating a Vegas Golden Knights → Henderson Silver Knights → Tahoe Knight Monsters development structure.
The Knight Monsters began play as an expansion franchise in 2024-25, making 2026-27 only their third ECHL season. Tahoe plays at Tahoe Blue Event Center in Stateline, Nevada, and is led by head coach Connor Jones, with Nick Niedert serving as assistant coach.
