The Allen Americans enter the 2026-27 season as the ECHL affiliate in the Ottawa Senators' development structure, giving Ottawa fans another professional team to track beyond the AHL's Belleville Senators. The verified organizational connection runs from Ottawa to Belleville to Allen.
Allen has been part of the ECHL since 2014-15 after beginning play in the Central Hockey League in 2009-10. The Americans play at Credit Union of Texas Event Center, and Steve Martinson serves as head coach and general manager.
