The Kalamazoo Wings give Vancouver Canucks fans another professional level to monitor during the 2026-27 season. The K-Wings are affiliated with Vancouver and the AHL's Abbotsford Canucks, creating a Vancouver Canucks → Abbotsford Canucks → Kalamazoo Wings development structure.
Kalamazoo plays at Wings Event Center and is led by head coach and director Joel Martin, with Billy McCreary and Tanner Sorenson serving as assistants. The K-Wings entered the ECHL in 2009-10, although the Kalamazoo Wings brand has a longer history across multiple leagues.
