The AHL regular season comes to a close on Sunday, April 19 to send us hurtling into the 2026 Calder Cup Playoffs.

23 teams will enter and just one will be left standing victorious. In 2025, it was the Abbotsford Canucks who hoisted their first ever Calder Cup after defeating the Charlotte Checkers in six games. 

The finale of the 2025-2026 season will hold yet another incredible story for the history books, and it's all streaming live on FloHockey.

Here's what we know about the Calder Cup Playoffs. 

When Do The Calder Cup Playoffs Start?

The first game of the 2026 Calder Cup Playoffs will be played near the end of April. Last year, the opening game took place on April 22. The final day for regular season play in 2026 is April 19.

The Calder Cup Finals will be in June 2026.
