AHL 2025 Opening Night, See Which Teams Play And When The Season Starts
The 2025-2026 AHL season is almost here and is set to be another big one. Here's everything to know about opening night.

The AHL will drop the puck on the 2025-2026 season on Friday, October 10 with a weekend full of regular season action that will see every team taking the ice, including defending champions and NHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, the Abbotsford Canucks.

After taking down the Charlotte Checkers in six games to win the Calder Cup, the Canucks will go on the road to open their 2026 Championship campaign, heading to Henderson, NV to take on the Silver Knights for their first game of the season.
Several rosters look completely different after an eventful offseason, and the first weekend of the season will be all about seeing how teams adjust to their new rosters.
