Getting to Know The Hamilton Hammers With Kashawn Aitcheson & Cole Eiserman

Hamilton has professional hockey again.

After 4,192 days without a pro hockey game in the city, the Hamilton Hammers opened their AHL home schedule at the renovated TD Coliseum in front of more than 14,000 fans.

Babs sits down with New York Islanders prospect Cole Eiserman, Kashawn Aitcheson and head coach Jay McKee to talk about the start of a new era in Hamilton.

Eiserman discusses his transition to the professional game after scoring the first Hammers goal at TD Coliseum. Aitcheson talks about reuniting with McKee just months after helping the Barrie Colts reverse a 3-1 deficit against McKee's Brantford Bulldogs in the OHL playoffs. McKee discusses returning to Hamilton and taking over behind the bench as professional hockey comes back to the city.
