Gotta See It: Former NHLer Mike Knuble Turns Fargo Force's 'Beer Can Race' Into Demolition Derby

Gotta See It: Former NHLer Does Beer Can Race

Former NHLer Mike Knuble turned the Fargo Force's Beer Can Race promotion into a demolition derby as he raced other Force players' dads and showed no mercy.

The Force always hold Beer Can races, but with this being one of the final home games of the season, the team invited some of the dads of their players to participate. Knuble, wearing the Bud Light can costume, is the father of Force forward Cole Knuble and clearly stole the show with his full-contact approach to racing the other dads.

Knuble was a rugged forward over an NHL career that spanned more than 1,000 games including stops with the Washington Capitals, New York Rangers, Boston Bruins, Detroit Red Wings and Philadelphia Flyers. He apparently only knows one way to play.

Also racing was Tony "Coors Light Can" Gruba -- father of Force defenseman Leo Gruba, Scott "TRULY" Boser -- whose son Brasen Boser is also a Fargo blueliner, and Adam Palodichuk, father of defenseman Joe Palodichuk.

While Knuble left a lot of wreckage in his wake, it was actually Scott Boser who won the race. He did pay the price, though, as Knuble essentially checked him across the finish line.

It was all in good fun, of course. The crowd certainly enjoyed it and now so did you.
