A long dormant rivalry and teams with vastly competing styles of play will highlight the 2023 Men’s Frozen Four in Tampa, Fla., April 6-8. After an often bizarre regional portion of the NCAA men’s hockey tournament, only four teams remain in contention for the national championship.

As the nonconference portion of the schedule rolls along, spring has hit in many BIG EAST towns, with teams set to host a number of home games in the coming days, before league play begins in early April.

The NCAA men's hockey tournament gets started Thursday with the first set of regionals including out west with the Fargo Regional. That grouping is highlighted by No. 1 overall seed Minnesota, which won't be terribly far from home to start what they hope is a return trip to the Men's Frozen Four.

The Canisius Golden Griffins defeated the Holy Cross Crusaders, 3-0, to earn the title of Atlantic Hockey Champion and a spot in the 16-team NCAA Hockey Tournament.

The 2023 NCAA Men’s Hockey Tournament is set and each of the 16 teams participating know the road they’ll have to travel to get to Tampa for the Men’s Frozen Four April 6-8. All four of last year’s Frozen Four participants are back in the tournament, with three of them among the No. 1 seeds in the tournament.
