FloHockey Archives: Michigan Tech Day

College hockey is over for the season, and fans across the country were devastated when the fallout from COVID-19 dashed conference tournaments and the Frozen Four. But just because we lost the end of the hockey season doesn’t mean we can’t look back at all the awesome moments we witnessed over the 2019-20 campaign.

For that reason, FloHockey is running a series over the next few weeks to spotlight teams from the WCHA and Atlantic Hockey, looking at the top five games from each team.

Next up: Michigan Tech.

Here's how strong the WCHA is: the Huskies finished in the middle of the pack in the conference but also won the Great Lakes Invitational and swept their way to the semifinals of the conference playoffs where they were set to face powerhouse Minnesota State before COVID-19 struck. The Huskies had a talented roster with a lot of great spots this year, and they hope to build on their end-of-season momentum into the next campaign.

Here’s what the schedule looks like for today:

11 AM*: Michigan Tech vs Robert Morris, Oct. 6

1 PM: Michigan Tech vs Clarkson, Dec. 13

3 PM: Michigan Tech vs Michigan, Dec. 31

5 PM: Michigan Tech vs Bemidji State, Jan. 18

7 PM: Michigan Tech vs Northern Michigan, March 7

*All times are Central.

Remember you can watch every Alabama Huntsville game that aired on FloHockey this season on-demand either on the site or in one of our apps: iOS, Google Play, Fire TV, and Roku. Find the complete list of on-demand games here.

Next season will be here sooner than we think.
