Chalk won the day through the opening rounds of the Atlantic Hockey playoffs, as Mercyhurst, Holy Cross, and Canisius had their seasons ended by Air Force, Robert Morris, and Bentley respectively. 

That sets up a loaded set of quarterfinals as the rest of the conference joins in the postseason competition.

(1) AIC vs (8) Bentley

The Yellow Jackets went on quite the streak over the last two months of the regular season to secure their top spot and the conference crown. Can they carry that momentum into their matchup with Bentley?

(2) Sacred Heart vs (7) Robert Morris

Sacred Heart is playing team hockey, and they believe their best is yet to come. They have a chance to prove it against Robert Morris.

(3) RIT vs (6) Air Force

Air Force dominated Mercyhurst in Round 1, but the Falcons face a much stiffer test now against the third-seeded Robert Morris Colonials.

(4) Army vs (5) Niagara

Army locked in home-ice advantage but knows they've still got a "challenging" matchup ahead vs Niagara.
