Tale Of The Tape: UMass' Cale Makar & Harvard's Adam Fox
Two of college hockey's best players — Cale Makar and Adam Fox — face off this weekend.

With 2018-19 Being "Year of the Defenseman" in college hockey, the NCAA bracketologists have tossed us a meaty bone to open the National Tournament.
Arguably the two best players in the land — Harvard junior Adam Fox and UMass sophomore Cale Makar — will be tracking each other all afternoon long in Manchester, with their respective seasons on the line.

Fox is the consummate power-play quarterback for the Crimson; look for frequent touches and dishes in the offensive zone. Makar is the motor that make the Minutemen hum; he will be playing all 200 feet, a driving force impossible to miss.
It's the preview of the Hobey Baker Award right in front of our eyes, and it begs the question: Is there enough popcorn?
Buckle up.
