The 2018 OneHockey Edmonton Tournament is ready for another lavish weekend of hockey as the third annual event gets underway Friday in Edmonton, Alberta.

The field of 34 teams, made up of age groups from 2006-2010, is spread across seven divisions. A minimum of five games per team brings the weekend to more than 170 matches from Friday through Sunday.

In a tournament poised for excitement, OneHockey offers endless banners and vendors throughout the arena while in-game music, player interviews, and game MVPs highlight the on-ice action.

You can stream the entire tournament live right here on FloHockey starting 7 AM Friday, May 18, until the celebration of the final championship game on Sunday afternoon.

A sixth and final championship game for each division finalist will be concluded with an on-ice, non-alcoholic champagne celebration for the winner, capped with the Tournament Cup, designed from the NHL’s Stanley Cup, albeit in kid-friendly size.

The unique action-packed format will see each team play doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday as the finalists will earn a third straight day of multiple games on Sunday. Teams will be up against some of the top competition in North America and be performing in front of NCAA, junior, and prep scouts all weekend long.

Last year’s AAA 2009 Elite Upper champions, Edmonton Ice Crushers, will be a team to watch as they return to defend their title as a member of the AAA 2010 Silver Division.

Last week, the Ice Crusher black team defeated the Ice Crusher blue team 5-3 for the self-hosted Ice Crusher Cup. The game was solid preparation for another go at the OneHockey Edmonton Tournament Cup.

Don’t miss the action when you can stream the more than 200 games at Edmonton’s Terwillegar Arena live this weekend right here on FloHockey.
