Sixth-ranked Ohio State completed its regular season sweep of rival Michigan with a 5-3 victory on Saturday, following a dominant 4-0 shutout win on Friday.

The Buckeyes (17-5-4, 10-5-1-0) are now 9-1 over their last 10 games and riding a six-game home winning streak.

Nearly 9,000 fans were in attendance, creating an electric atmosphere that almost certainly played to the advantage of the hosts.

“It was incredible," said head coach Steve Rohlik. "When Mason blocked those four or five shots — I don’t think I’ve heard this place any louder. Our guys feed off of it. Hopefully this spreads and we can get this kind of crowd in here. It was pretty awesome tonight.”

Ohio State closes out its four-game homestand with a pair against Michigan State this weekend.
