With another week of hockey in the books, FloHockey has compiled some of the biggest body checks from the past seven days.

There were a handful of big hits when the Winnipeg Jets visited the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday, so we’ll start with two big ones from there.

Winnipeg’s Dustin Byfuglien catches Detroit’s Darren Helm with his head down (and maybe in the head); Helm then runs over Branden Tanev as he goes for a shift change.

The tweet sums up Brad Marchand’s hit on John Tavares.

Weekly contributor Tom Wilson throws a blindside hit on Rangers defenseman Brendan Smith.

T.J. Oshie left the game after taking this unfortunate hit from Joe Thornton.

Buffalo’s Rasmus Ristolainen flattens countryman Mikko Rantanen.

Chicago’s Vinnie Hinostroza with a seemingly innocent but big hit on Arizona’s Anthony Duclair.

Reverse hits are the best hits.

This defenseman has definitely been taking notes from the Red Wings’ Niklas Kronwall.
