Get ready for a weekend packed with the best junior hockey action in the nation! 

From October 20-22, FloHockey will stream the 2017 Bauer Motown Classic LIVE from the Taylor Sportsplex and Troy Sports Arena in the Detroit metro area. The most competitive AAA tournament in the U.S., the Bauer Motown Classic includes 176 teams over nine divisions, including 16 teams in the U18 Division.

That group features a bevy of top-shelf talent from Michigan—in particular, the Little Caesars, Oakland Jr. Grizzlies, and Michigan Hockey Advancement programs. Expect these in-state rivals, along with international competition from clubs in Canada, to heat up the ice this weekend.

Historically, the Bauer Motown Classic has served as a formative experience for future NHL talent, including recent draftees Luke Kunin (Minnesota) and Clayton Keller (Arizona), and this year is no different. Keep an eye out for the HoneyBaked Hockey Club, whose alumni include more than 50 current NCAA hockey players and the likes of NHL studs Tim Gleason (Carolina), Jim Slater (Winnipeg), and Ryan Kesler (Vancouver).
