Their Halloween nightmare coming true, Michigan fell from the top spot in the DI men's college hockey rankings, giving up their first loss of the season to historic rivals Ohio State making way for another Big Ten rival to take No. 1.

The Wolverines weren't the only team to lose to an unranked opponent.

No. 15 Cornell was handed their first loss by Sacred Heart, 3-2.

UMass continued their fall, dropping out of the rankings after losing to Harvard on the road this weekend.

Of the ranked match-ups this weekend, Quinnipiac and Colorado College were the only two lower-ranked teams that were able to come out with a win, toppling No. 5 Providence 5-1, and No. 7 Minnesota Duluth 5-3, respectively.

Union and Army joined the USCHO.com top 20 rankings this week.
