Team USA is one step closer to defending its Olympic success on the international stage, but there is still work to do before the 2026 IIHF Women's World Championship.
After completing its first training camp in September, the U.S. Women's National Team will return to the ice Oct. 23-30 in Plymouth, Michigan. The second camp will give the coaching staff another opportunity to evaluate players and determine the roster that will represent the United States at the world championship.

The Americans will also face Canada twice during the October camp, with games scheduled for Oct. 28 in Windsor, Ontario, and Oct. 30 at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth. Both games are set for 7 p.m. ET.
The 2026 IIHF Women's World Championship runs Nov. 6-16 in Herning and Esbjerg, Denmark.
Team USA Returns To Training After September Camp
USA Hockey invited 31 players to its first training camp, which took place Sept. 13-19 at the NSC Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota.
The group included all 23 players from the gold medal-winning 2026 U.S. Olympic Women's Ice Hockey Team, along with eight additional players looking to earn a place on the national team. The September camp gave the coaching staff its first opportunity to evaluate the expanded group ahead of the world championship.
Now, the team will reconvene in Plymouth for its second and final scheduled training camp before the tournament. With the world championship approaching, the staff will need to narrow its options and settle on the players who will make the trip to Denmark.
