
Boston University broke open a scoreless game with four third-period goals and defeated Alaska Fairbanks 4-0 Saturday to complete a weekend sweep. The Terriers and Nanooks battled through two scoreless periods before Boston erupted for four goals in the final period.

Haoxi Wang opened the scoring in the third period with an even-strength goal. Kamil Bednarik added another, followed by Caleb Malhotra and Tynan Lawrence to give the Terriers a four-goal advantage.
Boston University controlled much of the game offensively, finishing with a 29-16 edge in shots on goal. Mikhail Yegorov stopped all 16 shots he faced for the shutout, while Tyler Shea made 25 saves for Alaska Fairbanks.
The victory followed Boston University's 2-1 overtime win in Friday's series opener, when Lawrence scored the game-winning goal. The Terriers leave Fairbanks with a two-game sweep to open their season.
