Here are three Jets prospects to watch with the Moose in 2026-27.

Colby Barlow, F

Colby Barlow enters his second full professional season looking to take another step with Manitoba.

The Jets selected Barlow No. 18 overall in the 2023 NHL Draft. The 21-year-old recorded eight goals and eight assists for 16 points in 65 AHL games during his first full professional season.

Barlow was officially loaned to Manitoba on Sept. 23 and remains one of the more intriguing young scoring prospects in the Jets organization.

Kevin He, F

Kevin He is making the full-time jump to professional hockey after a big final season in the OHL.

The 2024 fourth-round pick combined for 39 goals and 38 assists for 77 points in 60 games between the Niagara IceDogs and Flint Firebirds last season. His 39 goals ranked sixth in the OHL.

Winnipeg loaned the 20-year-old forward to Manitoba on Sept. 23, giving him an opportunity to establish himself during his first full AHL season.

Alfons Freij, D

Alfons Freij is another young player making the transition to North American professional hockey.

Winnipeg selected the Swedish defenseman in the second round of the 2024 NHL Draft. Freij recorded six goals and five assists for 11 points in 42 SHL games with Timrå IK last season before joining Manitoba late in the year. He also won gold with Sweden at the 2026 World Junior Championship.

Now 20, Freij has been loaned to the Moose and will get an opportunity to continue adapting his game to the smaller North American ice.
