The USHL Fall Classic is here as the top American junior league kicks off its season with all 16 teams under one roof. Downtown Chicago is the scene as the Blackhawks Community Ice Center plays host to the time-honored tradition where each team plays its first two regular-season games in front of NHL scouts, college recruiters and fans over the next five days.

The puck drops Wednesday as the league kicks off its 2026-27 campaign at noon CT with the Des Moines Buccaneers and last season’s runner up Muskegon Lumberjacks doing the honors at the brand new USG Arena, which is the new home of the Chicago Steel. Sioux City will then take on Green Bay and Fargo meets Cedar Rapids in the Night 1 finale.
