The New England Pro-Am Mini Chowder Cup is one of the oldest and most prestigious youth hockey tournaments in the U.S.

Founded in 1984, the tournament has helped produce NCAA and NHL stars for over 40 years. The Mini Chowder Cup is one of the first stops for young athletes looking to build their hockey careers.

Scouts from the U.S. Juniors, NCAA and NHL come to Pro-Am games, looking for the hockey stars of the future. In 2025, five NHL teams sent scouts to the games.

Here’s everything you need to know about the New England Pro-Am Mini Chowder Cup before games start on July 10.

When Is The New England Pro-Am Mini Chowder Cup?

The New England Pro-Am Mini Chowder Cup starts on July 10, with hundreds of tournament games spanning the 10th and 11th. 

The playoffs take place on the 12th, with games starting at 8 a.m. ET and going throughout the day.

Games at the 2026 New England Pro-Am Mini Chowder Cup are being played in multiple venues throughout New England.
