Scouting Report

Hockey sense, character, compete, skill. The list goes on and on. While Malhotra is not going to get you out of your seat with the plays he makes, he’s involved in so many things on the ice, you won’t care. Malhotra projects as a No. 2 center with a chance at being a No. 1 as he develops.

His NHL bloodlines showed the apple didn’t fall far from the tree as Caleb Malhotra is a committed all-around player as dad Manny was. He also has good size, moves well and clearly has some high-end hockey sense. His performance during the OHL playoffs was exemplary, which only enhanced his growing stock.
