The USHL’s regular season has reached its conclusion and the best time of year is here! Twelve teams are still standing in the race for the coveted Clark Cup with eight of those 12 set for a best-of-three first round starting Thursday.

The Des Moines Buccaneers and Lincoln Stars will open the USHL postseason Thursday night in Central Iowa. Meanwhile, the regular-season champion Youngstown Phantoms, Dubuque Fighting Saints, Sioux Falls Stampede and Fargo force will get the week off with first-round byes.
In the first round, the higher-seeded team hosts all three games. Des Moines kicks it off at home after earning home ice advantage on the very last night of the season thanks to Lincoln’s loss to rival Omaha.
