With more eyes on ice hockey than ever before, things are set for one of the most exciting NCAA Frozen Four tournaments in the history of college hockey.
It all kicks off on Sunday, March 22 when the field of 16 men's teams are selected to compete in the Division I Men's Hockey Championship for the national title. Six of the teams earned automatic qualification through conference championship victories. The remainder were selected on an at-large basis by committee.

After selections are made, teams will split into four regions and try to win their way out of each to make it into the coveted Frozen Four.

When Is The Frozen Four Hockey Tournament? Here's What To Know
The 2026 NCAA DI Men's Hockey Championship will be held at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Regionals will take place first, with all sixteen teams split across four different sites and one top-seeded team at each. The two winning teams will compete in a Regional Final at the same location.
The final, winning team from each regional will move on to the Frozen Four in Las Vegas.
