It's day eight of preliminary round hockey at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy. With just two men's games on Wednesday, the action continues all day Thursday with four more games.

One late addition, the rescheduled Canada vs Finland women's game, wrapped up their opening round before quarterfinals start on Friday.

After over a decade of anticipation, the NHL's top players return to Olympic Winter Games ice wearing the Team USA and Team Canada jersey for the first time since 2014 in Sochi.
