Pacific Division Wins AHL All Star Final For Third Time In Four Years
The AHL All-Star Challenge included two nights of exciting hockey skills on display by some of the most skilled players in North America. Here's who won.

After an incredible two nights of American Hockey League all-star action at a sold out BMO Center in Rockford, Ill., it's the Pacific Division which stands atop the pile for a third time in four years.
The fun opened with the Skills Competition, putting the future of the NHL on display across seven events at the home of the Chicago Blackhawks affiliate Rockford IceHogs. With nine first round NHL draft picks in attendance, it was a show to behold for both skaters and goalies showing off on the ice.

Night two was all 3-on-3 with a round robin tournament leading to a championship final rematch between the Pacific and Central.
It all came down to an exciting game six which left the Central Division team with only one way to the finale, they made it happen.
With just 17 seconds left, it was was Nick Lardis who launched the puck towards the net and found the post, where Bradly Nadeau was ready to pick up the juicy rebound and score his second of the game from the same spot.
Then, in the rematch final, the Pacific struck back. The one-timer from Abbotsford's Ben Berard opened the scoring with just a minute left in the first period. Then, Seattle Kraken 2022 2nd round pick Jagger Firkus put in an incredible backhand at point blank range for the two-goal lead.
An empty net goal put the nail in the coffin but the Central did not give in quite yet. With just 46 seconds remaining, Cameron Hughes took a backhand pass from the boards under the blue line and with a quick backhand-forehand handle, he grabbed the puck and lifted it up to the top right corner for their only goal.
