The 2026 Olympic Winter Games are through the first weekend and into week two as the preliminary round of the women's hockey tournament wraps up.

Starting Friday, every game is an elimination game as the gauntlet for Olympic gold shifts into yet another gear.

Team USA dominated Canada in preliminary round play, shutting out their northern neighbor 5-0.
