USA Men And Women's Hockey At Milan Cortina 2026: Schedule, How To Watch

Team USA men and women's hockey have a chance to make deep runs at the 2026 Olympic Winter Games. Here's the schedule and how to watch.

"A gold medal and gold medal only," is how four-time Olympian Kendall Coyne Schofield described Team USA women's hockey's expectations at Milan Cortina 2026 to NBCOlympics reporter Marisa Marcellino.

Both Team USA men and women's hockey have a chance to make their mark in history this month at the Olympic Winter Games with a women's team that's never missed a medal and a men's team that has struggled to reach one since winning the Silver in Vancouver in 2010.

Only two players return to wear the red, white, and blue for the men's team since their quarter-finals exit in the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Beijing: Jake Sanderson (OTT) and Brock Faber (MIN). Both were 19 years old at the time and playing college hockey.

Men's head coach and Massachusetts native Mike Sullivan will be looking to bring the Gold back from Europe after a long wait. He was named to coach the team in 2022 but was replaced when the NHL withdrew due to COVID-19.

The return of NHL players to Olympic hockey for the first time since 2014 has skyrocketed anticipation for the event, especially after the United States' recent fall to Canada in the 4 Nations Face-Off in 2025.

The women's team, one of the most successful in international play, will get things started on Thursday, Feb. 5 at 10:40 a.m. against Czechia led by head coach John Wroblewski.

Since women's hockey was added in the 1998 Olympic Games in Nagano, Team USA hasn't placed below Bronze. They have also made it to every IIHF Women's World Championship Gold medal game since 1990 and took the gold 11 times. Captain and five-time Olympian Hilary Knight will lead the Americans for one last time as they set their sights on the Gold.

Here's the schedule and how to watch Team USA men and women's hockey in Milan Cortina 2026.
