AHL Announces Rosters For 2026 All-Star Classic

The AHL has announced its selections for the 2026 AHL All-Star Classic presented by BMO to be hosted by the Rockford IceHogs on Feb. 10-11.

Some of hockey's best young talent will be on display for the 2026 AHL All-Star Classic presented by BMO next month.

The AHL has announced its selections for the event to be hosted by the Rockford IceHogs on Feb. 10-11. The AHL's four divisions will each be represented by a team of 12 players apiece. Twelve NHL first-round picks are among the 48 players chosen for the 3-on-3 round-robin tournament. The All-Star Skills Competition on will be held Tuesday, Feb. 10 (8 ET/7 CT) while the AHL All-Star Challenge is set for Wednesday, Feb. 11 (8 ET/7 CT).

Leading the way with four representatives apiece are the Grand Rapids Griffins (Sebastian Cossa, John Leonard, Dominik Shine, and head coach Dan Watson), Laval Rocket (Adam Engström, Jacob Fowler, Laurent Dauphin, and head coach Pascal Vincent), and the Providence Bruins (Patrick Brown, Frederic Brunet, Michael DiPietro, and head coach Ryan Mougenel). Colorado Eagles first-year head coach Mark Letestu round out the four coaches while Brown and Colorado Eagles forward Jayson Megna will serve as playing captains.


Forward Arthur Kaliyev, who leads the AHL with 24 goals and 42 points, will represent the Belleville Senators. Host Rockford will have defenseman Kevin Korchinski and forward Nick Lardis as its selections. Fans wishing purchase tickets can visit icehogs.com/asc26.


Thirty of the players chosen have made an NHL appearance this season. Among the top prospects chosen are forwards Denver Barkey (Lehigh Valley Phantoms), Quinn Hutson (Bakersfield Condors), Bradly Nadeau (Chicago Wolves), and Gabe Perreault (Hartford Wolf Pack)


The Cleveland Monsters will host the 2027 AHL All-Star Classic. This year's event is the first to be hosted in the Midwest since Grand Rapids welcomed the AHL's best in 2004.

Each of the AHL's 32 teams have at least one player selected. Here are each of the four divisions' squads:
