The 2026 World Junior Championships are going strong! As action ramps up on New Year's Eve, here's all of the live updates as the US takes on Sweden!

The 2026 World Junior Championships is in full force and what better way to ring in the new year than by watching some great hockey! 

One of two games on the docket for Dec. 31 features Team USA taking on Team Sweden in a game that is sure to carry some major implications for the upcoming rounds of bracket play. 

These two teams have dominated in the World Juniors up to this point. Team USA heads into the contest on New Year's Eve, 3-0-0-0 and have absolutely dominated the competition. 

Team Sweden also will head in to this game 3-0-0-0 and also carries their own type of dominance.  As both teams head to the rink tied for the top of the standings in Group A, the stakes have never been bigger with bracket play on the horizon. 

Puck drop is scheduled for 5:00 PM CT / 6PM ET and can be streamed live on the NHL Network and FuboTV for those viewers in the US or on TSN for those viewers in Canada.
