ECHL Returns To Play, 5-Year Collective Bargaining Agreement Ratified
The ECHL and Professional Hockey Players' Association announced today that they have come to an agreement that will run through the 2029-30 season.

The ECHL and Professional Hockey Players' Association (PHPA) announced on Tuesday, December 30 that they have come to an agreement that will run through the 2029-30 season.
After postponements halted play starting on Friday, December 26, teams return to the ice for games on Tuesday night.
Jacksonville Icemen and Orlando Solar Bears will be the first. Puck drop is at 7:00 p.m. ET in the Kia Center and it's all streaming live on FloHockey.

The new agreement includes significant increases in player compensation, "improves health and safety and delivers on new initiatives that are responsive to our players' needs," said ECHL Commissioner Ryan Crelin. Click here for the ECHL's full statement.
The PHPA celebrated the agreement, publishing a statement by Executive Director Brian Ramsey and included that the terms run through the 2029-30 season.
