The Philadelphia Flyers are linked with the Reading Royals as their primary ECHL partner. This relationship began back in 2014.

The Royals call Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania. their home rink. 

Leading the Royals into 2025-26 is Anthony Peters, who was named Head Coach and General Manager after the conclusion of the 2025 season. Peters comes from the Florida Everblades organization, where he served as an assistant coach in seasons of strong playoff outcomes — including their third consecutive Kelly Cup win in 2024.

The Royals won their lone Kelly Cup championship in 2013 before their affiliation with the Flyers. Since then they’ve been remarkably consistent: making the playoffs in 13 of the most recent 15 seasons.
