The Hockey Season Is Here! To celebrate the beginning of the 2025-26 campaign, another exciting year of USHL hockey and the addition of new league partners, the OHL and QMJHL, FloHockey is going to present a selection of games live and free across social platforms starting Wednesday for fans of all leagues to enjoy.

It all starts Wednesday afternoon as the USHL kicks things into high gear with the start of the 2025 DICK’s Sporting Goods USHL Fall Classic. All 16 USHL teams will play games in the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex near Pittsburgh with two games kicking the season off on Wednesday.

Both of those games will be available for free across social platforms. The first features the Dubuque Fighting Saints against the Sioux City Musketeers, while the nightcap will feature a rematch of last year's Clark Cup Final as the Waterloo Black Hawks take on the defending champion Muskegon Lumberjacks at 7 p.m. ET.

Both the OHL and QMJHL will open their seasons the following night with the schedule highlighted by the first ever game for the Newfoundland Regiment against defending QMJHL champions Moncton Wildcats.

That will be the free game on social platforms Thursday, with fans able to watch the dawn of a new team in the proud hockey community of St. John’s, Newfoundland. The puck is set to drop at 5:30 p.m. ET. 

On Friday, the London Knights will be raising their OHL and Memorial Cup banners in a home game against Owen Sound. The Canada Life Place will be absolutely rocking as the Knights gear up for another season just after celebrating the accolades of the past year. That faceoff is set for 7 p.m. ET, but don't miss the pre-game show and banner raising as coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. ET

But why stop there?

We’ll have a triple-header of games for fans to enjoy free on social platforms featuring all three leagues.

The QMJHL will start us off with a game between the highly-touted Blainville-Boisbriand Armada and Val-d’Or Foreurs at 4 p.m. ET

Just 30 minutes later, the Fargo Force will be taking on the U.S. National Under-18 Team at the USHL Fall Classic. Hockey influencer Nasher is expected to be providing color commentary in a special broadcast live from the Fall Classic.

Closing out the night will be an intrastate rivalry matchup between the Saginaw Spirit and Flint Firebirds at the Dow Event Center in Saginaw. That game is set for 7:05 p.m. ET.

All other games from all three leagues will be available to stream with a FloHockey subscription via FloHockey.tv or the FloSports app.

How To Watch The Opening Week Schedule

All games will air on FloHockey.tv and via the FloSports app. However, fans can also watch the game for free across FloHockey’s social media platforms. 

Game broadcasts will begin shortly before puck drop and air in its entirety across Flo social platforms including YouTube, Facebook and X (Twitter).

How To Watch Free OHL Games Throughout The Season

Throughout the 2025-26 OHL season, FloHockey and the OHL will present a weekly Friday Night Faceoff game. The designated game, which will be announced on Mondays throughout the season, will be available for free across FloHockey’s social platforms including YouTube, Facebook and X (Twitter). The games will also be available on the OHL’s main Facebook page, as well as each of the participating teams’ Facebook pages.

How To Watch Free QMJHL Games Throughout The Season

Throughout the 2025-26 QMJHL season, FloHockey and the QMJHL will present a weekly free game on Thursday nights throughout the season. The games will be announced during the week in which they will air. Each of those selected games will be available for free across FloHockey’s social platforms including YouTube, Facebook and X (Twitter).
