The Chicago Wolves finished the 2024-2025 regular season in fourth place in the Central Division, clinching a Calder Cup playoff spot. The Wolves had a 37-31-4-0 regular season record but lost in the first round of the Calder Cup Playoffs to Central Division rival Rockford IceHogs.

The AHL affiliate of the NHL Carolina Hurricanes, the Wolves have won five league cups including two Turner Cups and three Calder Cups, most recently winning the Calder Cup in 2022.
