The stage is set for the AHL 2025 Calder Cup Finals.

After a grueling 72-game regular season and five intense playoff rounds, the Charlotte Checkers and Abbotsford Canucks—both No. 2 seeds—have emerged as the last two teams standing. 

This highly anticipated finale series kicks off tonight, Friday, June 13, at Bojangles Coliseum. 

The Checkers, the AHL affiliate of the Florida Panthers, and the Canucks, the same for the Vancouver Canucks, have each demonstrated remarkable resilience, overcoming formidable opponents like the back-to-back champion Hershey Bears, the overall regular season points leader, and West conference points leader to reach this pinnacle.
