What Teams Are Still Playing In The 2025 ECHL Playoffs?

Here are the eight teams still vying for the 2025 Kelly Cup in the ECHL, along with their NHL affiliates.

  • Florida Everblades (St. Louis Blues)
  • Fort Wayne Komets (Edmonton Oilers)
  • Kansas City Mavericks (Seattle Kraken)
  • Norfolk Admirals (Winnipeg Jets)
  • Orlando Solar Bears (Tampa Bay Lighting)
  • Tahoe Knight Monsters (Vegas Golden Knights)

  • Trois-Rivières Lions (Montreal Canadiens)

How Did The ECHL Playoff Teams Get To Round Two?

Still alive is the three-time defending champion Florida Everblades after sweeping the Jacksonville Icemen despite every single game going to overtime.

Florida will look to extend their unprecedented championship run against Floridian rivals Orlando Solar Bears, which advanced after beating regular-season champion South Carolina in seven games in the first round.

In the North Division, neither the Trois-Rivières Lions nor the Norfolk Admirals needed much time to get through their series. The Lions swept the Reading Royals in four games while Norfolk took care of the Wheeling Nailers in five.

Central Division leaders Toledo made quick work of the Indy Fuel, sweeping them in four games. They’ll meet longtime rival Fort Wayne in the Central Division finals after the Komets came back from a 3-2 series deficit to beat the Iowa Heartlanders in seven games.

Out in the Mountain Division, newcomers Tahoe Knight Monsters silenced the Wichita Thunder in a four-game sweep, though one of their wins came in a dramatic double-OT game. Meanwhile, Mountain Division leaders Kansas City got some push back from the Tulsa Oilers. Ultimately, however, the Mavericks escaped the series in six games.
