The 2025 Frozen Four stage is set with all of the following teams: Denver, Western Michigan, Boston University and Penn State all punching their tickets after winning their respective regionals.

Defending champion Denver is back in the finals after defeating Boston College, the No. 1 overall seed, and the team they beat in the National Championship Game in 2024. Another title will add to the Pioneers' record of 10 titles in the program.

Western Michigan is appearing in its first Frozen Four and tied its program record by gaining its 32nd win on the season after beating UMass in the regional final.

Coming into this matchup, expect it to have a veteran-versus-rookie feel, with both teams hungry to win for different reasons.

Western Michigan vs. Denver will be played on April 10 at 5:00 p.m. ET on ESPN2.

Where is the 2025 Men’s Frozen Four?

St. Louis will host the 2025 NCAA Men’s Frozen Four at Enterprise Center, the home of the NHL’s St. Louis Blues.

How Does The NCAA Hockey Tournament Work?

  • At the beginning of the tournament, teams will compete across four regional sites in single-elimination games, with four teams standing at the end.
  • There are two games in the regional semifinals between these teams for a chance at the regional finals.
  • The winners of the four sites will then advance to the Frozen Four in St. Louis, MO.
  • From there, the two winners will compete for the grand prize in a national championship.
