The 2024-25 ECHL schedule is here and teams have gone all in on their video releases on social media. We love to see it.

Schedule release days have become almost a holiday in the world of professional sports and this year, ECHL teams deserve a little extra shout for their work. Here's a look at some of the most creative videos we saw.

Iowa Heartlanders On Campus

The Iowa Heartlanders went back to school, asking University of Iowa students to identify their 2024-25 opponents and the results did not disappoint.

Worcester Railers Ask The Locals

The Worcester Railers took a similar approach, talking to locals rather than college students, though with a very different outcome. It still worked very, very well.

Indy Fuel's Nostalgia Bomb

The Indy Fuel also gave us a taste of the rush we used to get, wondering if the little DVD logo would ever perfectly hit the corner or simply leave us all frustrated and disappointed, exactly how their schedule reveal did not leave us. However, we’re still waiting for the corner.

Idaho Steelheads And The Bear Necessities

The Idaho Steelheads made their mascot, Blue, the star of the show, depicting him in various situations related to their home opponents for the upcoming season and they crushed it with impressive simplicity.

Tahoe Knight Monsters Throw It Back To Vine

Though they are the newest team to join the league, the Tahoe Knight Monsters took us back to simpler times… with a compilation of Vines as their opponents. If this is a sign of things to come for Tahoe’s social media presence, it’s a good one.

Utah Grizzlies Win The Day

While this is not a ranking of schedule release videos, it should be acknowledged that the Utah Grizzlies knocked it out of the park with their release. Utilizing a TikTok trend where people mix different flavors into water to make their “water of the day”, the Grizzlies mixed up different waters for each of their opponents.

After seeing all these videos, we're ready for October. But let's not forget to finish the season strong.
