Boston University hockey will take on Denver in the 2024 Frozen Four The winner gets a chance to play either Boston College or Michigan in the 2024 Frozen Four National Championship game.

While Boston College deservedly gets the plaudits for having a complete team, BU hockey has, without a doubt, the best draft prospect going into the 2024 NHL Draft. That is Macklin Celebrini. The center is ranked No. 1 overall in Chris Peters' NHL Draft Rankings 2024, and will likely be the first pick taken in the draft later this summer. 

BU has run through opponents on their way to the Frozen Four, first beating RIT 6-3, then defeating Minnesota by the same score two days later.

Denver has an elite prospect over their own (Zeev Buium is currently ranked No. 11 in the same draft rankings) and while their scoring has been low in the NCAA tournament so far, the Pioneers have only allowed two goals overall. Denver defeated UMass and Cornell on their way to the Frozen Four. 

Boston University will play Denver on April 11, at 5:00pm ET in St. Paul, MN.

Yes. While both teams started on opposite ends of the NCAA Hockey Tournament bracket, Boston College and Boston University could meet in the 2024 Frozen Four Championship game. It would be a rematch of the Hockey East Tournament Championship game, which BC won 6-2.
