Boston College baseball will travel to Wilmington to take on UNCW baseball in a mid-week matchup. The Eagles come to North Carolina with a 6-3 record overall, having played three different opponents in the first three days of March. BC baseball defeated Richmond, 7-2, and William & Mary 9-7, before losing to VCU, 1-10, in their most recent game.

UNC Wilmington's baseball program comes into the matchup at an even 6-6, having not quite stabilized themselves throughout the 2024 season. The Seahawks have only won two-in-a-row once this season, and a quick look at their schedule shows the team flips between a win and a loss nearly every other game.

UNCW's pitching has been fairly strong, with a 3.30 ERA on the season, good for third in the CAA team stats. Offense has been the issue, as the Seahawks rank last in batting average in the entirety of the CAA, hitting .230 on the year. 

The Seahawks will need the bats to pick up steam, as the BC Eagles average nearly eight runs a game.
