During our preseason visit to Princeton, Patrick Glory discussed his decision to go 125 this season.  He elaborated on the challenges the weight cut presents, but acknowledged it was his best chance at winning a national title this March in Tulsa. A few months later, Patrick was registered at 133 pounds for the Midlands Championships.

The wrestling world was buzzing with this news as it appeared Roman Bravo-Young, Daton Fix and Vito Arujau were going to have some company at the already loaded 133 pound weight class.  However, a few hours later, Glory scratched from the tournament and never competed.  This left wrestling fans with even more questions about which weight Patrick would be wrestling at this season, particularly for conferences and NCAA's.

After some internal discussion and deliberation,Princeton Head Coach Chris Ayres told FloWrestling definitively that Patrick would be at 125 for the post season this year.  Ayres mentioned that Patrick may have a modified weigh-in schedule for the remainder of the season, but that come March, he has his eyes on the 125 pound crown.
